Who is the Climate Baron?

Well, this is awkward. I'm sure you are expecting a savvy researcher, a mighty financier bent on profiteering from a warming planet or at the very least a member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

Sorry to disappoint. I'm a climate optimist who believes in the interconnectivity between the global financial system and our planet. I am passionate about understanding how can humanity (or portions of it) use financial instruments, data and just a plain different understanding of the cost of doing business to help solve the climate crisis.

I have no formal financial or climate training, but i'm trying. I'll be sharing my thoughts on how the financial system can curb climate change and what is actually happening.

Climate Change is a convoluted topic that requires expertise, and so does Finance. I will not try to claim I have answers to any question and will not try to convince you that i am right. Instead, I will share thoughts and make arguments and will invite you poke holes in them. Hopefully no one will actually be reading this.
